Troubleshooting

Every row quotes a message the platform can actually show you. Find your message, then apply the remedy.

Symptom	Cause	Remedy
`only .zip uploads supported`	The upload is not a `.zip` archive.	Compress your source into a `.zip` file, then upload it again. See Start a scan.
`This upload expands to 1.4 GB when unzipped, above the 1.0 GB limit. Remove large files such as build output, media, or dependencies, or add exclude patterns, then upload again. You weren't charged.`	The archive goes over the 1 GiB limit once it is unzipped.	Remove build output, media, or dependencies, or add exclude patterns. See Start a scan.
`Out of credits. You have 40 credits but need at least 120 to start a scan.`	Your organization balance cannot cover the estimated cost of this scan.	Add credits, then start the scan again. See Billing.
`This scan stopped because of a problem on our side. Try running it again. If it keeps failing, contact support with the scan ID above.`	The scan failed for a reason outside your control.	Run the scan again. Contact support with the scan ID if it fails again. See Manage a scan.
